After four days it was racked and the must finished fermenting in used barriques and cigarillos.

Founded in 1823 and now in its fifth generation with current owner Alois Lageder, the winery stands out for its ability to blend tradition and innovation. Every action carried out on the estate is inspired by a holistic and sustainable approach. This means that respect for nature takes precedence, as demonstrated by the choice to practice organic-dynamic cultivation. The grapes harvested in the family's own vineyards (approx. 50 hectares) in Magrè, Cortaccia, Termeno and the area around Lake Caldaro are cultivated using organic-dynamic methods. The Lindenburg vineyard in Bolzano and the Krafuss estate in S. Michele/Appiano are currently undergoing conversion. The Tenutae Lageder wines are made from grapes grown in the family's own vineyards. These are joined by the Alois Lageder line of typical wines, most of which are vinified in purity and made according to the highest quality criteria dear to the winery.
