Characteristics


Straw yellow colour with golden reflections. Very fine and persistent perlage. Complex bouquet, pleasant hint of yeast, fresh fruity and citrus notes. Fresh, full-bodied taste with good persistence.

Vinification


Soft pressing of whole grapes and maximum yield in must of 60%. Fermentation partly in steel and partly in barriques. Re-fermentation in the bottle with the addition of selected yeasts. Maturation on the lees for about 40 months. Remuage by hand on pupitres. Disgorgement and rest in bottle for a further 4 months.

Pairings

Ideal as an aperitif, but also throughout the meal.

The Azienda Agricola BELLAVEDER was founded in 2004 by Tranquillo Luchetta . The winery is located in a magnificent position overlooking the Piana Rotaliana (hence the name "BELLAVEDER"), and extends for about 8 hectares above the town of San Michele all'Adige, an area historically dedicated to the cultivation of the vine. The company also owns the "Vigneto San Lorenz" located in Valle dei Laghi in the Cavedine area at an altitude of 600 metres, where Muller, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes are mainly cultivated. Since 2006 the oenological direction has been in the hands of Luca Gasperinatti. In 2013, the conversion to organic production began, leading to the certification of all the vineyards. The wines are typical of the terroir and express themselves with finesse, precise intensity and respect for the grape variety from which they originate
