Bright ruby red color. Very fruity wine, of medium structure, persistent

Vinification

Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, no use of fermentation aid. No SO2 is used on grapes or in must. Malolactic fermentation: it is not controlled, it is normally carried out completely. Fermentation tanks: steel. Method and duration of aging: aging in wood in the presence of the noble lees, from 12 to 18 months and then in the bottle for at least 6 months after bottling.

The goal of the company CASTEL NOARNA has always been to obtain high quality grapes that can best express the characteristics of the territory, Vallagarina characterized by a mild climate and strong temperature changes in autumn, where the soils are of the calcareous, lean and rich in skeleton. Since 2007 CASTEL NOARNA is inspired by the philosophy of natural agriculture for the cultivation of vineyards. The use of artificial fertilizers, herbicides, synthetic products and insecticides has been banned. All work in the vineyard is done with the utmost respect for the plant.
