Luis Oberrauch, since childhood has shown an interest in wine, at 13 years he produced his first wine. Then the studies until the degree in oenology and several experiences in the cellar until the support of 'winemaker Willi Sturz of the Winery Termeno. In 2017 he realized the dream of his life, to have his own company, so was born in the town of Ora (BZ) the "Manifattura Luis Oberrauch". Both in the vineyard and in the cellar Luis tries to intervene as little as possible, to create wines with character, their own personality and high longevity. The wines are coarsely filtered before bottling without any clarification. The company is strongly rooted in the territory, in fact, only autochthonous Lagrein and Schiava vines are grown and vinified, mainly on the pergola. The last born is a small production of Sauvignon Blanc.
