Characteristics


Colour, straw yellow with greenish reflections. To the nose a rich bouquet of tropical fruits, flint and elder flowers. Notes of citrus and lemon balm. Fruity, velvety, mineral, elegant taste. Final pleasantly salty.

Vinification


After brief maceration of the grapes, slow fermentation at controlled temperature and aging for 5 months on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks.

Pairings


Starters, fish dishes and white meats.

Producer


The Prackfolerhof is located in Fiè allo Sciliar. Surrounded by deciduous forests on the sunny side of the Tires Valley, between the Sciliar and Catinaccio mountains. The particularity of the area with its cool nights and warm days means that this difference in temperature together with the moraine soil creates excellent conditions for viticulture. In Prackfolerhof the winegrowing tradition has been practiced for generations on steep slopes facing south-west. From the cultivation according to traditional methods high quality wines are produced.
