Bright ruby red color. On the nose, complex, fine, with fruity notes of small ripe red fruits and jam, black cherry, currant, raspberry, cherry; spices of vanilla, black pepper, tobacco; herbaceous hints of hay and green pepper. In the mouth it is dry, warm, soft, fresh, with a well perceptible tannin. Full-bodied, intense and with a long gustatory persistence.
The hand-picked grapes are de-stemmed and the whole berries ferment in stainless steel tanks. Maceration lasts about 10 days for Lagrein and Teroldego and about 20 days for Merlot and Cabernet. Once the maceration is completed, the wine is aged in barriques for about 12 months at the end of which the cuvée is made between the different wines. In order to safeguard the freshness and fruity characteristics of the wine, the barrels used are exclusively used. After bottling, Moratel is left to refine for at least six months in the bottle before being put on the market.

CESCONI is a family business, with a great winemaking tradition matured on the hills of Pressano in Trentino and which has its roots in history. Over the years, the CESCONI has moved with commitment to the organic conversion of all the vineyards, and more recently to the approach to biodynamics, in a path of continuous growth based on deep knowledge of the territory and daily attention to the vineyards. Currently the vineyards extend over an area of about 20 hectares, divided between the Pressano area and the Sarca valley, and characterized by profound differences in climate and soil. Over the years Paolo CESCONI with the support of his sons Alessandro, Franco, Roberto and Lorenzo, begins the modern history of the company. Viticulture is transformed, replacing the pergola with training systems with higher planting density and production for reduced strain; the grapes are vinified using innovative techniques, which allow to preserve the aromatic integrity and guarantee the shelf life of the wines. Tradition and innovation are accompanied, in a constant search for quality, with the desire to produce wines that are an authentic expression of the territory.
