Features

Straw-colored with good intensity, it has warm and ripe aromas, a rather persistent and dense aromatic note. The taste shows a certain structure supported by balanced muscat notes and good acidity.

Vinification

Producer

The company was founded in 1907 by the hand of Joseph Hofstatter today the great grandson Martin Foradori Hofstatter with a purely family management carries on the estate with its approximately 50 hectares of vines. The vineyards located between 250 and 800 meters above sea level in Bassa Atesina in the province of Bolzano give the opportunity to grow different varieties of grapes, both white and red. The focus is on the traditional varieties for the area: Gewürztraminer, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Nero, Lagrein and Schiava. Hofstätter wines make their origin recognized. Urbano di Barthenau are among the first wines from South Tyrol to take the name of their place of origin
