Features

With an intense bright yellow color, the Grande Cuvée “Beyond the Clouds” reveals itself in all its complexity already on the nose, where it ranges from complex aromatic nuances with notes of white flowers and nuances of stone fruit and pineapple to marry with mineral hints. Complex and refined, it appears on the palate with a delicate note of wood; Fascinating finesse and strength with great potential accompany the fresh finish.

Vinification

Being a blend, the harvesting and processing of all the grapes takes place together and on the same day. After fermentation, a “battonage” is carried out weekly for 3 months. The wine ages in French barriques for approx. 10 months and a further refinement in bottle for at least 6 months follows.

With 55 hectares under cultivation, including the two vineyards Castel Ringberg in Caldaro and Kastelaz in Tramin, ELENA WALCH is one of the most important winemakers in South Tyrol. The wines are distinguished by character, elegance and strong personality, combined with the highest professionalism of realization. The superb climatic conditions and the exceptional location of the estates result in fresh and fruity white wines, as well as concentrated and smooth red wines.
