The Gewürztraminer „Kastelaz“ is distinguished by its intense golden yellow. The extraordinary full and enveloping bouquet has infinite facets: aromas of rose, lychee and dried fruit, spicy notes of cinnamon and carnation flowers with a touch of honey in the background. A nectar that also convinces the palate with its complexity: full and round, dense and concentrated with a very harmonious freshness and structure and which closes with an intense aromatic finish. A very fine wine full of character.

Vinification

Before pressing there is a contact with the skins for 6 hours. Soft pressing, decanting of the must in a static way, by lowering the temperature. Fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature of 18 ° C. After fermentation, long aging on its own yeasts („sur lie“).
