Features

Dark ruby red, notes of violet, wild berries, fresh cherries and plums on the nose. Very pleasant smell, which opens to a taste rich in tannins, balanced and full-bodied, before a finish that returns to the fruit. Excellent persistence.

Vinification

Constant stirring of the marc cap at a controlled temperature, in stainless steel barrels. Subsequent aging of six months in small oak barrels and a few months in the bottle.

Pairings

Pasta with meat sauce and medium-aged cheeses.

" PFITSCHER " has always been synonymous with a passion for good wine. More than 150 years of history of this winery in which wine, as well as philosophy, has undergone a great evolution. What was asked of wine in the past was very different from what is asked of it today. A change that Klaus PFITSCHER had already grasped and understood 40 years ago, when he decided to devote himself to the vinification of more ambitious vines and therefore to focus 100% on quality. A concept that, at the time, was not yet so widespread in the panorama of South Tyrolean wine production. But the facts proved him right. Today PFITSCHER wines are an expression of the vital force of the vineyard and the genuine purity of the wine.
