Features

Bright, luminous red color. Suggestive bouquet, with spicy notes and hints of red fruits, light hints of rose petals. On the palate it is very elegant and enveloping, with a very pleasant sweetness and flavor.

Vinification

Soft pressing of the grapes, temperature-controlled fermentation on the skins, maturation in steel tanks and permanence in the bottle for a few months.

Pairings

Excellent as a dessert wine, to be enjoyed with dry pastries.

Producer

In Mezzocorona, the winery is one of the oldest in Trentino, founded in 1863. Today it is managed by the Marco Donati family with his wife Emanuela and daughter Elisabetta. Passion and commitment pushes us to continue the family tradition in the continuous search for improvements day after day for the enhancement of a quality viticultural heritage. One of the vines to which the Donati family is historically linked is Teroldego, a native vine of the area with which the legendary "Sangue di Drago" is produced.
